A spiced hot tea called ‘Chai’ Karak holds a special place in the UAE and has become ingrained in our culture over the years. It arrived in the country all the from India and the word karak means strong in Hindi. The city is scattered with karak shops, but nothing beats homemade. Hospitality and generosity are a lifestyle in our heritage.

Emirati’s performcustoms which mirror Islamic values that give guests a very warm welcome and offer them all possible means of comfort with grace regardless of their social status. We were taught to always be kind hosts and receive our guests with Arabic coffee, fuala, frankincense, and of course ‘Chai’. This is something we practice at the studio every single day.

The collection is inspired by the creamy color of the tea, with the speckles representing loose Lipton tea floating around the bottom of the cup before your last sip.
